A lot of variety this week.
  • a head of lettuce (I chose romaine, for variety.)
  • half a pound of garlic scapes
  • a bunch of new onions with their greens (I chose white over red.)
  • two tomatoes
  • half a pound of chard or spinach (I chose yellow chard; the colors were separated out.)
  • 1.3 pounds of zucchini and/or summer squash (Given the zuke experiment yesterday, I got zukes; I still have some squash left. Oh, and today the zuke bread didn't taste as bitter; I don't know if it's aged well, or what.)
  • two pounds of cucumbers (I picked little ones; maybe I'll finally try pickling something.)
  • a handful of basil (upped to two as I got my stuff, so now there should be enough for some pesto)
  • a stalk of broccoli
  • a head of radicchio (Is there anything to do with this other than salad?)

I changed my Boston Organics delivery to a small box, and either a third or a half fruit (I don't remember). With all the farm produce, the fruit is more useful. And in the summer fruit is more appealing to me, too.
    five slightly green bananas
  • an eggplant
  • a bag (half a pound?) of green beans
  • two zucchinis (one small, one large)
  • two onions (I'm glad; I never seem to have enough alliums!)
  • two oranges
  • three kiwis
  • a mango
  • four white nectarines (White must be the inside; the outsides are red, almost the same shade as the plums.)
  • eight red plums
