Shabbat food
Nov. 19th, 2004 04:01 pmI had a hard time figuring out what to make for Shabbat; usually I'm lucky enough to have something of interest. This week, not so much. I am lucky to have some nice ingredients around, so I ended up making
-roasted slices of butternut squash, with onions, black pepper, rosemary, lavender, and olive oil
-artichokes
-steelhead trout fillets with wasabi
-soy 'meatballs' with crushed tomatoes, basil, onion, chickpeas, and lots of black pepper
It feels better to have real food made. I wish I'd managed it more this week.
Shabbat Shalom.
