Lots of grocery acquisition tonight, which went fairly smoothly (hooray for actual lists, split up by supermarket!). Except for the oranges. Whole Foods (formerly Bread & Wallet) didn't have organic oranges. I'm not dogmatically organic with my produce, but I've gotten to the point that I'm somewhat squicked by eating the peel of non-organic citrus. I asked, and was told that they'll have organic oranges "in a couple of weeks." Which is not in time for the Day of Turkey with Cranberry Relish. Does anyone have suggestions?

I hadn't thought of Harvest. Hmmmm. (And there's plenty of time for me to stop there not on Shabbat. But thanks for the offer :-).

I believe the nearest Wild Prices to you is on Rt 16... I think it's Medford at that point but I could be wrong. If you take Rte 16 east and pass the U Haul on your right, duck (quack!) under the railroad bridge and it's on the right. If you hit I-93 you've gone too far.
Some Whole Wallet store might still have the oranges; but I'd check a Wild Prices, the Harvest, or (slight chance) TJs.

Thanks for the directions. As it turns out, I don't have to do a massive search: a friend just started getting boxes of produce from Boston Organics, and will happily give me a couple of her oranges :-).
