– how the pierced hanging blinds (the ones designed to let some sun in) made it look like there was a regular pattern of polka dots outside (that's a Moiré!)
– a gravestone in a Waltham Xtian cemetery entirely in Amharic except for the years
– a single raindrop sitting in the middle of a nasturtium leaf
– how road workers dried off a newly-painted bike symbol with gas flames
– an inlet almost covered with water lilies, leaves and blossoms (especially nice seen from a network of trails discovered in the woods right by the office)
– the 'child-minder' in the Winslow House (also a lovely sundial in the herb garden)
– clusters of ripe cherries hanging from a tree near my house (prettier before rather than after I'd picked them, but tastier after)
* But I'm lame and haven't been carrying a camera with me, so word pictures is all you get.
