Farm share week 9

• a medium bag of salad mix
  
• eleven pickling cucumbers
  
• six small to medium sweet onions
  
• a bunch of green curly kale
  
• perhaps a pound of orange carrots
  
• two yellow tomatoes
  
• four Asian and one small Italian-style eggplants, all purple
  
• six ears of organic corn (Warner Farm) (little spheres the size of biggish cherry tomatoes)
  
• two quarts of tiny yellow plums (Klein Hill Fruit Farm)

The corn I've cut off the cob and frozen; based on the size of the kernels, they seemed a bit underripe, alas. The kale has been massaged into salad with sunflower seeds, and dressed with lemon juice and EVOO. The plums are macerating to become jam (they arrived in slightly rough shape). Some of the cucumbers will go into salads, and some will be fridge pickles.
