Thoughts for local explorations this summer

• Belle Isle marsh, by the Suffolk Downs T stop. Acres of hiking that are T accessible, what could be better?
  
• Walk around Concord, not just Walden Pond. Optional: reread The Diamond in the Window and/or (blanking on title, the book about the Patriot's Day reenactment).
  
• Visit Drumlin Farm in Lincoln. (Bike out, once I'm in better shape?)
  
• Walk the Minuteman National Park.
  
• Visit the Peabody Essex Museum. Also the stamp museum in Weston, by the wonderful organic farm.
  
• More Harbor Islands.

There are so many things I haven't done/seen/experienced around here. Other ideas?

This week's strange food at the Butcherie

Peanut butter in tubes. Yes, the ultimate in convenience. And it comes in five variations: Dreamy Creamy, Munchy Chrunchy, Cinnamon Surprise, Caramel-Carmel Crunch, and (my favorite in weirdness) Jalapeno Kick. (Online info here.).

Why is it that there's always something bizarre when I go there?
