When some onions are talking amongst themselves, the conversation is inter allium.
The line under the y-axis is subordinate.
Last night's dinner: an onion-mushroom quiche, brown jasmine rice cooked with two cubes of frozen chopped garlic, and partly-carmelized onions with toasted pine nuts, chopped spinach, and a light dusting of nutmeg. Just enough left for breakfast/lunch today :-).
I got an email out of the blue from someone, and it started me thinking: am I getting lazy about keeping in touch with non-LJ people? Not a good thing at all.
And in another meta-LJ thought, I realized that at times journals aren't just narratives of life that others can comment on, but can function almost as (not-so-) literary salons did, fostering conversation on any of a variety of topics.
