Farm share, week 17

• two bunches of green curly kale
  
• two bags of mixed salad greens
  
• bunch of orange carrots with greens
  
• two bunches of Hakurei turnips with greens
  
• a butternut squash
  
• seven small yellow onions
  
• seven large apples, mixed varieties (Apex Orchard)

First thoughts: kale salad with lemon-tahini dressing. Butternut squash soup. Green salad with barley and a variety of nuts. Sauteed greens with mushrooms and tofu puffs.

I have been neglecting my garden a bit: I have a lot of kale and spinach that needs to be harvested and gleefully eaten. Time to put together an over-winter plan. Enjoy your produce! How many more weeks do you have coming to you?

Two weeks left after this one, though I think there might be a late-season extension available (I haven't had the bandwidth to keep up).

I got the extended season, so weekly through Thanksgiving.
