Shabbat menu, dairy edition
Dec. 18th, 2009 02:13 pmTotal work time on this: a bit over an hour, since the bread (and dessert) is bought. If I'd had more time or been more organized, I might have made a menu that more reflected Hanuka...
Also made: roasted broccoli for lunch out.
- grape liquid, rolls
- hummus
- garlic-carrot*^ soup reprise, with shallots*^, onion*^, potato, salt, pepper, ginger, and allspice, garnished with Greek-style plain yogurt^
- wheat berries^ cooked with sun-dried tomatoes, spinach*^, eggplant-garlic spread, and herbed cheese
- sauteed onions*^, kale*^, and sweet potatoes* with hot sauce
- roasted green beans*
- red sauerkraut*^ (home made)
- green salad if I'm up for it (plus there's already a lot of green, but I have a bunch of salad stuff from the farm share)
- leftover nog cake, TJ's truffles
