Trust Library, an amazing collection of historical Hebrew books,
many unique, is up for auction through Sotheby's. It's being offered
as a whole library; I hope whoever (or whatever institution) buys it
will keep it intact.
There are viewing hours for the public through next Thursday, and I
wish I could go. My favorite part of the British Museum is the library, with such things as the Book of
Kells, Magna Carta, and the manuscript for Alice , and this
would be even more wonderful, being my history as well.
