Shabbat food

- olives, zaatar
- stew-like stuff: onions, collards, chard, a head of garlic, the end of some barley, yellow split peas, hot sauce, nutmeg, black pepper, turkey meatballs made with chickpea flour, flaxseed meal and Szechuan spicy sauce
- brown jasmine rice with the end of last week's chickpea stew plus sauteed onions and zucchini
- chicken legs baked with onions and zaatar
- nuts, dried fruit, tea
And for lunch tomorrow, I have some chicken breast to put in a green salad with peaches and onions I roasted with cayenne, black pepper, and honey.

I must not have put much of any of seasonings, because it wasn't noticeably any of them (certainly not spicy), but the flavor is fairly well-rounded. Some of the yellow peas aren't yet at the mush stage, despite hours of cooking, though ok as is.
I never got around to the appetizers or desserts. I did have a sweets snack of apricot jam on good bread.
