magid- Cold enough to need the winter coat (finally).
- There was nice, thick puddle ice to crack satisfyingly (not just the thin crackly surface stuff).
- Snow that actually stays on the ground.
Plus the oddness of loud snowfall, hearing the large flakes landing on drifts of brittle, dried out leaves. I don't know that I've ever heard that before, not at that level.
