Yesterday's Boston Organics delivery was late, after 5 pm; I started to wonder if they delayed a day due to the Monday holiday (like the trash pickup).

What I got:
  • two heads of red leaf lettuce
  • one bunch of green Swiss chard
  • two sweet potatoes
  • one pint of cherry tomatoes
  • one bunch (three stalks) of broccoli
  • four bananas
  • two navel oranges
  • four tangelos
  • six apples

I think I'll be bringing citrus to Arisia, also salad fixings. Note to self: buy salad dressing; making it would be better, but involves things that might not stay firmly sealed in transit, so less good for the con.

Last night was the second (of six) photography class. Micro-review: it was less bad than last week. Which is to say, I learned something about the technical end of things, and there was some discussion about composition that wasn't useless. Plus I got to see some wonderful photos people brought in (some aerial ones showing textures of the earth made me think of Rivers and Tides, while another featured a colorful Asian dancer in front of an enormous snow sculpture of a rooster, which just made me want to laugh). However, talking about filters to get particular effects when (a) the listing is far from complete and (b) we haven't officially taken any pictures yet seemed a bit much. Our assignment for next week? Bring the camera with a roll of 400 b&w film. No, oh, I dunno, suggestion to take rolls of photos or anything in the mean time. *eye roll*
I'm debating asking for a refund. Well, not a refund, but a voucher for another class. The teacher's nice, but extremely scatterbrained, and I'm a bit frustrated.

*la, la, la, not thinking about today's noon event*

*grin*

I don't have that one, but I do have How Are You Peeling? (Foods With Moods). I'm always impressed with how they find such expressive produce.
