new throne in cambridge
Dec. 1st, 2001 06:05 pmwalking to shul last night, i found that the tree that had been cut months ago to be another chair in the series (does anyone know whether the chairs made out of tree stumps are a random public artist's enthusiasm or whether the city of cambridge is doing really cool stuff?) and had been rotten in the middle has now been modified. the paint is still wet, so i haven't yet sat on it, but trowbridge st. now has its own throne. (i know of at least 4-5 others.)
(and i can't believe i walked around all day today in sandals. it's december!)

multiple posts
Date: 2001-12-02 05:55 am (UTC)my response: i didn't realize i'd posted more than once- i kept getting messages that i should try again later, which i kept doing until it told me it updated. why that should get me multiple copies of the same post with the same time stamp, i don't know. erg.
so i logged on & went to delete the extras, carefully checking which one had a comment on it so i wouldn't delete someone else's stuff, and the order in which they were listed in one place was different than the other. sorry about that, queue.
