Passover notes

Also, look at seder notes and last year's notes.
- I have salt, black pepper, cinnamon, ground ginger, and cayenne pepper for next Passover.
- I've run out of the plastic under-tablecloth liners; get more.
- Get plates and heavy duty plastic white/clear/pastel cutlery for milchigs.
- Consider getting a pareve spatula (white or dark green), a fleishig pot big enough for soup, and a fleishig ladle (red or metal).
- The vegetable peeler is not a good one; consider getting a new one.
- It worked to not use the cabinet, though the counters were rather full at the beginning.
- There were too many protein leftovers, and not enough non-starchy veggies.
- Do not buy the fruit gel things; the texture is not as good as Trader Joe's.
- The plastic serving bowls can be used as the top of a jury-rigged double boiler, which means chocolate nut clusters and chocolate-dipped fruit are possibilities.
- Spiced nuts are nice.
- I need to have at least one cooking fat in addition to olive oil, whether it is vegetable oil or butter or something else.
- There are now three cooking trays that can fit in the oven at once for roasting veggies. The one on the bottom rack will tend to burn faster, though; pay attention.
- It's not worth getting any eggplant 'liver' that's not the preferred brand, even if it's on sale.
- The wasabi sauce was good for experimental deviled eggs, but not really much use without fresh fish.
- Remember that baked gefilte fish loaf works just fine (especially with something spicy over it).
- The last two years Stop & Shop has had walnuts and almonds, so check there first before going nuts at the Butcherie.
