Noticed this morning: the morning glories are making seeds.
Phrase of the day: "sculpture in time", used to describe Jewish holidays and festivals.
I have a card for prix fixe dinners at the Doubletree Suites in Waltham, for dinners starting before 6 pm. Does anyone want it?
It's that time of year again: time to for Hillel to get funding through the suggested purchase of tickets for high holiday services (not for undergrads, though); and for renewing support for the eruv (which has restructured their suggested donations for people with kids, who would theoretically use it 'more' (whatever that means), to pay more than adults, and families with more than one income to pay more than those with one, along with an option to volunteer time instead of money); and for Ma'ayan brochures to appear in my mail box as well. Ah, Elul z'man.

Speaking of which, if you're interested in classical music, there are free noontime concerts at Copley on Thursdays through September (a guitar duo, someone on piano, a classical orchestra, and a family quintet).
