Harvard's Museum of Natural History (26 Oxford St.; 617-495-3045) and Peabody Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology (11 Divinity Ave.; 617-496-1027) are going to be open and free on the Fourth of July, from 9 to 5. I'm thinking of going over for a bit in the morning.

Yesterday we heard about Katharine Hepburn. And today it's not not only Buddy Hackett, but also Robert McClosky.

Now that Boston is getting a new cardinal (O'Malley), I keep thinking of the headlines not used when Cardinal Law stepped down, such as:
Lawless in Boston
Rule of Law Ended
(I like how those have such opposite implications :-)

I'd be interested in going to the Museums with you, if you want company.

I'm not sure what the exact timing will be, but in the morning. I'll call/email tomorrow when things are clearer, ok?
