One year later

A year ago I made my first LJ post. It felt a bit strange, posting for an audience larger than just me. Now it seems more usual.

Anyway. In celebration, I will now host a virtual LJ party, here in the comments. Bring what you will. Virtual bacon-wrapped scallops are welcome! And, hey, an open bar for them's that wants it.

Hey, it's just a little bit past my first LJ entry anniversary too and I'm happy to celebrate with you. In my first entry (November 2, 2001) I wrote:

So, am I whining? Yeah, that's about it. It's primarily why I started this journal. It's my job-search and related shit whining spot, but maybe some other stuff will leak in.

I guess some other stuff has leaked in.

Now, let's see. Three entries on November 26, 2001. It was t-shirt wearing warm (it's sunny and nice but not so warm today); I was annoyed at the tv (which is no longer there) in the laundromat; I was reading The Fellowship of the Ring (I haven't done any book reading so far today).
