Nov. 6th, 2002 02:11 pmI have some raisins at work (to go with the grape-nuts, of course), and just noticed the marketing copy on the box: Fast Fruit.
I haven't seen them move yet, which is reassuring.
So is it fruit that doesn't eat (leading to the usual emaciated state)(since it seems clear that a person wouldn't be eating while fasting)? Is that how grapes become raisins, some go on a hunger strike? Seems weird to tout that, somehow. Eat lefty emaciated grapes! I wonder which grape issues are most pressing.... (No, couldn't resist that one.). Perhaps that's why consumption of raisins is decreasing, with the shift in politics these days...
