I missed walking over the Zakim Bridge on Mother's Day, and it seems there's another chance this Sunday, 11-4. It's part of a 3-day ribbon-cutting ceremony, so the last time pedestrians will be on the bridge (barring strange accidents, etc) (more info here).
OTOH, something like 60,000 people who wanted to walk over the bridge already did. And it's not tourist season. Though you're likely to be right... Still, I may stop by to see how long the lines are, anyway.
I wonder hoe many people showed up and then left because it was too crowded. And how many people couldn't go because they already had other Mothers' Day plans. And, of course, there are no basketball or baseball games going on, so more people might be available to come.
I fully expecting it to be as crowded as last time.
