Feeling a bit guilty for the couple of things I've let slide this week, plus the rest of the vacation posts I'd intended to make already (Bitty is so impressive!).

I like this weather, but it is weird for August. Overcast and cool, the wind blowing the clouds east to west, the wrong direction.

OTOH, I barely saw the sun through the cloud haze yesterday afternoon, and it was at just the right angle that I could see the sun as a lightly rainbowed bright spot.

The cold continues, but as long as I'm not feverish or headachey, I'm pretty functional. Hooray for getting more sleep and healthy food. (More cooking in my future this afternoon; lots of farm veggies calling out for cooking.)

Whatever river is by Route 16 just isn't as user-friendly as the Charles: toveling a frying pan was more of an adventure than I'd anticipated. The banks are grown over, and the few slightly-more-accessible spots are enough above the water that it's not really feasible. I think the fourth place I found I could finally dunk it. OTOH, it was fun to be meandering around the nonpaved trails in that parklike area by the Target, the strange feeling of privacy in a potentially very public space.

Can't resist after all: last night's best Boggle words were forester and forested. Very satisfying.

Hm, thank you, but bewarned: there were people who dropped me from their friends list on account of that catching-up flood. So don't be in such a rush to catch up ;)

I have one, maybe two posts left, so it's unlikely to flood.

And I've been enjoying reading your posts.
