There's a sale at the Garment District Friday through Sunday, 50% off everything in the store. Now how can I fit that in to all the other things I have to do....?

And this year's overnight bike ride is August 17... I need to get in better shape by then.

There are also two events in September that sound cool, that I won't be going to (gotta love the holidays....):
A monarch butterfly migration celebration, Sunday September 22, noon, Boston Common (for a fee), and
the Three Apples Storytelling festival,, September 27- 29, out in Harvard, MA

Overnight bike ride?

There's a group that organizes a ride every year, starting at midnight (gather at 11.30), riding in and around the Boston area, with breaks for architectural and other touristy type notes. The route changes every year. Last year we rode in Boston, around some locks, near the Cambridgeside Galleria, through BU, around Brookline to some park on a hill, and later out to Castle Island. Much fun, except that it rained (apparently the first time), and I somehow managed to break my saddle. But the tech guys (who have notes/maps of the route, and walkie-talkies to keep in touch; the group starts out rather large and ends up dwindling through the night...).
