Nov. 7th, 2014 02:43 pmMy usual Tuesday plans are all canceled next week (Veteran's Day). I'm considering other things to do. The list so far:
- walk to the dock tattoo in East Boston to get pictures of how it looks now that it's done (extra pluses: can check out the park on the next pier, and the bike path to through the neighborhood towards Logan) (likely 9+ miles walking)
- get passes to the MFA and see some aht (extra pluses: go to the Copley farmers' market after, and could get lunch from the Chubby Chickpea food truck) (likely 7 miles walking)
- go to the garden in Belmont to put the garden to bed (except carrots and parsnips), and plant garlic for next year (11 miles walking, with some hills)
- sign up for a Boston Area Gleaners trip (likely 5+ miles walking)
- hike the Fells (variable miles, but likely a lot)
- if Trader Joe's has gotten in kosher turkeys by then, cut one up and make a variety of tasty things ('tis the season for USian carnivores to think about turkey recipes; anyone have interesting ideas for this year?) (3 miles walking)
- awesome something I haven't yet thought of?
