Porch report

I bought four Sungold cherry tomato plants at the Davis Square farmers market at the beginning of the season. Today I saw that the forecast was for 27 F tonight, so I pulled the remaining green tomatoes off the plants (and brought in two others I'll be overwintering inside). Still to do if the plants are ok tomorrow: freeze chives and oregano.

By the numbers:

Picked green: 11
Final day harvest of underripe fruit: 239, or about five cups
