[local eating] Farm share, week 16
Sep. 21st, 2011 06:15 pm- a winter squash (a small dumpling squash)
- two pounds of bell peppers (red and yellow)
- half a pound of long red peppers (I already forgot the variety name, even though it was on the card, darnit)
- a pound of fingerling potatoes (I chose yellow over purple, just because there were more of them)
- a pound of red onions (well, onion, as it turned out)
- a pound of mostly-green tomatoes
- a bunch of dill or cilantro (former, for me)
- a bunch of collards or kale (former, for me, since I only saw purple curly kale)
- a third of a pound of mesclun
- a head of lettuce (I chose a small red-leaved kind, partly because I always prefer red, but also because it was small, and I still have lettuce from previous weeks)
- a pound of chioggia beets
