Sighting

Sightings on the commute home:
-a train set running in the window of a men's clothing store
-three tailored (?) paper dresses
-a candle-lit rally on the steps of Memorial Church

Sightings on the commute in:
-Widener's winter steps
-lots of chalk graffitti in the Yard, pro and con each side; it's definitely the Harvard-Yale game this weekend (my favorite: Huck Farvard)

Shabbat food

I had a hard time figuring out what to make for Shabbat; usually I'm lucky enough to have something of interest. This week, not so much. I am lucky to have some nice ingredients around, so I ended up making

-roasted slices of butternut squash, with onions, black pepper, rosemary, lavender, and olive oil
-artichokes
-steelhead trout fillets with wasabi
-soy 'meatballs' with crushed tomatoes, basil, onion, chickpeas, and lots of black pepper

It feels better to have real food made. I wish I'd managed it more this week.
