Short takes

Too much to do in too little time. I hope I don't crash in the middle. And a full night's sleep would be excellent.

No honeycrisp apples at the farmer's market today; the vendor said he'd likely have some Friday, which doesn't help. Ah, well. Otoh, there were two kinds of lovely arugula (arooooogula!) and mesclun with nasturtiums.

I'm thinking of going to see the glass pumpkin patch Friday at MIT, probably in the 5-6 range, before Shabbat. Er, if that works after meal delivery to wherever [recipients] are by then. Which it should. It'd be nice to go with someone (it's always good to have someone I can say "Look at that!" to.); let me know if you're interested.

I have a one-day pass for Healthworks, which also gets you a free T-shirt. Any takers? (Female only, sorry.)

Lists, it all comes down to lists, lists and details. I know l'm going to forget something. I just hope it isn't something crucial.
edit Like voting! The polling place is the lobby of the hospital down the street; no excuse not to get there before the polls close.

Just a bit frazzled, and needed to get things out of the whirlpool of my head, see where I am.

OK, so that's two more things to do tonight, the turkey in the morning, and three things to cook after work tomorrow. Not including salads, of course.

Also, need to do a load of laundry. Start it in the morning.

I feel I've been slacking, with too many breaks at the computer. OTOH, I've been shopping at the Butcherie, the farmer's market, and Market Basket today, in addition to the cooking.

And I voted. At 6:30, I was number 169, which is pretty dismal. I was the only voter in the hospital lobby the entire time I was there; the four poll workers seemed fairly bored. Of course, on the Democratic ticket, there were only four races, one of which was contested (a three-way race for sherriff).
