Quite an impressive feat, really. Perhaps I'll check just above the science fiction section in the main library.

Grapes are on sale at Stop&Shop this week, in all sorts of colors and types, both conventional and organic. I splurged, getting not only some organic red grapes, hard in just the right way, but also some champagne grapes; I've heard of these tiny ones before, but never seen them, so had to get some. They're so cute!

All-day training today and tomorrow, on Texasious things and graphing calculator stuff.

Farm share, week 10 (the middle of the season!)

This week's share includes:

• 4 largish yellow onions
  
• a small head of red cabbage
  
• two cucumbers
  
• a bunch of mustard greens
  
• a bunch of bright light Swiss chard
  
• an Asian eggplant
  
• a bunch (8) white hakur turnips, with greens
  
• two small summer squashes, one of them pattypan
  
• 14 small-to-medium carrots, including a two-digit one, and a three-digit one
  
• 6 heirloom tomatoes, two huge, 4 of a more regular size

A list at the dropoff site had the kinds of tomatoes: great white, valencia, big rainbow, green zebra, and black krim. None of the ones I got look like a green zebra or a great white, however.

On the way home, I heard that one of the WBUR sponsors offers "professional squash and fitness." I imagine a zucchini in a business suit, or a pattypan squash in a tailored dress, walking out of a gym.
