A list at the dropoff site had the kinds of tomatoes: great white, valencia, big rainbow, green zebra, and black krim. None of the ones I got look like a green zebra or a great white, however.
On the way home, I heard that one of the WBUR sponsors offers "professional squash and fitness." I imagine a zucchini in a business suit, or a pattypan squash in a tailored dress, walking out of a gym.
- 4 largish yellow onions
- a small head of red cabbage
- two cucumbers
- a bunch of mustard greens
- a bunch of bright light Swiss chard
- an Asian eggplant
- a bunch (8) white hakur turnips, with greens
- two small summer squashes, one of them pattypan
- 14 small-to-medium carrots, including a two-digit one, and a three-digit one
- 6 heirloom tomatoes, two huge, 4 of a more regular size
