Particularly for those on my friends list who are in the found_objects community:
There is Found magazine that collects all sorts of found things, with commentary. There was an interesting description of how the magazine came to be in this Globe article, including some of the strange things found, including how some people recognized their lost bits of paper in the published magazine.

I found kosher organic grape juice at Trader Joe's, their house brand. Great excitement, even before trying it.
I also saw a product I'd never anticipated seeing anywhere: candied (dried) tomatoes. Yeah, I know they're botanically fruits, but...

I broke my car key today. The top part, where it loops, broke, so it won't stay on the key chain anymore. Yet another errand to put on the to do list.

Morning glories seem to grow five heart-shaped leaves after the two initial butterfly-shaped ones before they start vining and twining. It's amazing how fast they latch on to anything to twine around, even another plant's stem.

The little people's book of wisdom: gnomic^2 tome.

Defective pastry. Yes, it's a phrase in an ancillary. No, I couldn't change it. Every time I see it, I giggle.
