Farm share, late season 1 of 4

• eleven carrots
  
• two bunches of braising mix greens
  
• ten small red beets
  
• two butternut squash, one rather small
  
• five daikon radishes
  
• four not-large rutabaga
  
• two heads of red cabbage, one medium, one small
  
• seven ambrosia apples (Apex Orchard)

I've been binge-watching the Great British Baking Show; now I want to bake some fabulous apple dessert. Maybe mash the rutabagas with sauted onions and lightly cooked greens. I should find the energy to do some canning as well; I'm getting behind. Possibly roasted beets and carrots (unless they get pickled).

Maybe try to re-create the Brookfield Orchards apple dumplings? I think the frozen fillo dough from Trader Joe's has a hecksher.

I had been thinking ambitious thoughts of making dough myself, but I am definitely not attempting to make phyllo! :-)
