Farm share, week 11
Aug. 26th, 2020 07:40 pm- two smallish celeriac, with greens
- five smallish leeks
- two medium bags of salad greens
- seven bell peppers (two purple, the rest green)
- five heads of garlic
- two large bunches of rosemary
- thirteen tomatoes (small red ones, two larger heirloom varieties)
- a lot of red-skinned potatoes (maybe four pounds?)
First thoughts: I should get avocado, or feta, something to make a green salad more appealing. I could make a tomato-pepper sauce, maybe roasted with the garlic. I could caramelize the leeks and add them to mashed potatoes and celeriac.
