So I went to look at the blog [livejournal.com profile] prog mentioned in his latest post (yesterday), and who do I find is another writer with the same publishing house?
Peter Wiggin.

Does Orson Scott Card know?
(And I'm surprised he's not using an alias... :-)

I am ashamed that I never picked up on that while I was there.

However, you were probably doing something productive while at the site, not gawking like a tourist....

Is Orson Scott Card writing blogs using Peter Wiggin as an alias?

Okay, I've just got to ask:

What's the deal with the random characters at the end of a lot of your posts lately?

I have no flipping idea (no non-flipping ones, either). If I go back and edit the post, sometimes the deleted end-character stays deleted, but sometimes it takes multiple passes through "edit entries" to make it stick. I'm not sure if it's happening more with posts from the work machine, or what, but it's damned annoying. (I did have a theory that the character would be predictable depending on the last thing I typed in the post, but that didn't pan out; it really does seem to be random.)

And while I'm ranting, when I post there are often extra spaces put in, that I then have to go back and delete (those are more likely to stay dead when removed, though). Really, my typing is *not* as bad as that...
