[local eating] Shabbat
Nov. 27th, 2009 01:40 pm- grape liquid, matza (read: too lazy to shop, and the oven's still fleishig. and hey, it crumbles well into soup! :-)
- turkey*^ soup with onion*^, garlic, parsnip*^, carrot*^, and sweet potato*^
- turkey*^ and stuffing
- mashed potatoes*^
- kohlrabi*^ and apple^ slaw
- red sauerkraut*^
- pumpkin pie (which I'm considering serving with the main course, because I forgot to put almost any sweetener in it, so it's rather more like a vegetable dish than pumpkin pie usually is)
- apple crisp

And I'll be bringing baked sweet potatoes*^, cranberry^ relish, red- and green-leaf lettuces*^, and radicchio*^ for Shabbat lunch.
