Thursday night soup: onions, carrots, parsnips, potatoes, yellow-eyed peas, roman beans, parsley, lavender, dried garlic chips, salt and pepper

Shabbat soup: leftovers of the above with the addition of a couple of chicken thighs
turkey meatloaf: ground turkey, gluten-free oat bread crumbs (from the last time the Imperfects were over), dried garlic chips, ketchup, hot sauce, brown miso paste
roasted green beans (these were snacked upon earlier today)
baked sweet potatoes
pickled red onions
chicken thighs baked with the last of the boozy apricots plus ginger spread
green salad if I get inspired
apple slices baked with ground walnutsl and Lyle's golden syrup

Brought to my hosts' for lunch: green leaf lettuce, hearts of palm, and pink grapefruit sections for a salad.

(Why, yes, it is use-up-open-containers-in-the-fridge time. :-)

and it was excellent!

Hey, are you still up? I've got a somewhat urgent (but minor) crisis.

Glad you liked (also the sauerkraut).

And glad it worked out today :-)

The meatloaf was exactly what I was in the mood for; it vanished rather quickly. The pickled onions didn't get put out, but will be used this week, so it's ok. The balance of apricots and ginger was too much on the sweet side, but otherwise decent. I didn't get inspired to salad. There wasn't a noticeable amount of Lyle's with the apples. And I also brought the end of the fall batch of sauerkraut to lunch; the fridge is looking much emptier.
