I found this article on Vermont's lost roadways fascinating, the possibility of long-gone roads revived because they were once useful. Ghost roads? Zombie roads? Reminders of how the land used to be used very differently, anyway.
These costumes seem like they'd be perfect for some LARP, with nature spirits or something.
