Commute with weather

to Porter had 5-10 minute delays, and I got to work with time to
spare. (Now, of course, there is a notice about slow trains:
"Fitch/SoActon Train #453 (7:27am OB) is experiencing a 20 minute
delay due to switch & weather related problems. 3/2/2009 8:02 AM Last
Modified: 3/2/2009 8:07:00 AM" Not so helpful.)
It's not that cold out, just windy and snowy; I overheated because I'd
worn too many warm layers, and my glasses fogged up. The roads seem
fairly passable, with traffic slow and steady; I saw only one car
fishtail. (Hint to drivers: just because it's daylight doesn't mean
you're visible in a storm. Use the headlights.)
There weren't many pedestrians until I got close to Porter, and I was
almost going to be able to say that for the first time, I saw no bike
commuters, but one determined guy passed me heading into town.
