Week in review

+ Blackbird (though somewhat disturbing content)
– hit and run accident
+ watching the Academy Awards with friends (good company + easily-hunted snark; what could be better?)
+ gluten-free chocolate cupcakes made with beets
– getting some kind of chest/throat cough thing, including low-grade fevers
+ finally dealing with certain sadly-overdue paperwork
– letting procrastination win for so long until now (no way to quantify how much stress this gave me, but it was a lot)
+ Arranged
+ candied orange peel
– ruining one of my good pareve baking trays
– idiot drivers who managed to annoy me
+ sweet proprietor at Tabrizi's
+ made devilish king cakes
– ruining the better of my two michig baking trays, and snapping a serving spoon
– eruv down
+ brought salad fixings to shul just before candlelighting
+ and as the only green salad that made it, was appreciated
+ seder invitation (one of the two I was hoping for)
+ learning session on Ben Zoma
– house key eitage, leading to a day reading at shul
+ brought the things home from shul right after Shabbat
+ got into my home after Shabbat easily

Glad it was a good week pverall, though the breakages can't have been fun.

It felt like it was more of a neutral week; I think being sick tinged everything.

The slowest hit-and-run accident: a car very very slowly backing out of a space in a parking lot... into the side of my car. And then driving off. I should paint the scratches over, but there wasn't other damage.

oy for the hit and run. And the virus. And you are around for Pesach? So are we! House full of cousins and kids and random small animals (or something), but we should talk...

The hit and run was a smaller nuisance than the virus, this week. It's mostly on the wane now, thankfully. Oddly enough, the one I presumably caught it from still has noticeable coughing, despite being theoretically a couple of days ahead of me.

And I'm around for Pesach. If the Frank people invite me for a seder as is their custom, my sedarim are set, but I'd love to figure out plans for some other time(s).

Seeing you before then would be good too :-).
