the stitches they put in me are in black thread. do they only use black, or do they have light thread to contrast with dark skin, so the stitches don't get lost?
There are many colors of suture. I think the black may be more common in the thinner one, as when I had to have stitches on my chin two years ago,(right before a business trip, of course), the doctor apologized for not having any light-colored suture thread in the thinnest grade.
