Thanks.

I had thought to make some kind of more involved dessert, plus a third dish after soup, but the rest of the day's things ran longer than I'd planned. So it felt a bit less than I'd hoped for. (Though there were plenty of leftovers, so I suppose I shouldn't feel that way.)

Hmm, yes, I can see that, a special dessert for what seems to have been a special occasion and an additional, perhaps more brightly colored vegetable dish, but still, YUM. Hearty, substantial, tasty food is good.

Thanks.

Dinner was at 7... and lasted until midnight. I'm really happy that the conversation kept flowing that long, and if the food helped, I'm pleased.

Aw, darn, I can't crash dinner, then. Any leftovers?

Lots of soup (I can't make small quantities of soup), a little tofu, and I just finished the veggies.

I might host dinner tomorrow night, which would definitely use the soup....
