yeah, the wind power is pretty cool. i was cranky that they're charging more, not less, though. make an incentive!

I wonder how much of the more has to do with it being generated so far away (NY is the closer one).

And while I agree, it ought to be cheaper to buy renewable energy that doesn't have the same costs, it seems that in lots of spheres, going green costs more. I'm hoping that with wind power, anyway, once it becomes more usual, the costs will lower to reflect the true costs.

I wonder if getting people used to paying more for it will disincentive them (you know, "them") to get the technology to a point where it's cheaper.
