Fast cooking for Shabbat
Nov. 30th, 2007 03:44 pmWhich is to say, got home around 2:30 and started cooking.
-a tray of roasted onions and zukes
-a tray of roasted onions, parsnips, and sweet potatoes with rosemary
-sauteed onions, already-roasted garlic, broccoli, strips of seitan, and Szechuan spicy sauce
-rice
Whole wheat pita was bought, cookies are around. I have salad fixings, cheese, and red sauerkraut available. In other words, not fancy, but ample food for Shabbos, which is good, because this week (and next) are the earliest Shabbatot (candlelighting around here is 3:55). So I will scurry off to shower, and wish you all Shabbat shalom, or happy weekend!
