Shabbat food
Oct. 19th, 2007 05:12 pm- roasted onions, red peppers, eggplant, potatoes, with salt
- roasted onions, carrots, sweet potatoes, white potatoes, with salt and lemon pepper (I have to refill the regular pepper grinder)
- salmon fillets roasted with grainy mustard (has dill and champagne in it) and cubes of mango
- fried rice: leftover rice from takeout Wednesday, with onion, broccoli bits, carrot bits, soy sauce, also the rest of the shelf stable chopped liver I got on a whim a while back from the Butcherie, and finally opened last night in a "I've no time to cook and no leftovers" rush (note: not good enough to be worth buying again)
- Brussels sprouts (if I manage them in the next half hour)
- cantaloupe
notes
Date: 2007-10-23 08:29 pm (UTC)The fried rice was ok, but didn't feel fleishig enough. I had some left over and last night sauteed yet more onions, carrots, and broccoli with some spicy sausage, and added the rice stuff. Still not amazing, but ok, and now gone.
Brussels sprouts and cantaloupe are still extant.
