Shabbat dinner

• grape liquid, partly white wheat challah rolls, with multigrain stuff
  
• hummus, olives, possibly zaatar and olive oil
  
• chicken soup (Yeah, I know, it's not exactly the weather for it. But celery means soup (unless it means stuffing, of course), and that plus two friends incubating a cold meant chicken soup, with onion, celery, carrot, sweet potato, lots of ginger, garlic, and some mushroom stems)
  
• chicken baked with carrots, chard, green beans, golden zucchini, a tomato, and fresh garlic, topped with chipotle mustard and some drizzled honey
  
• sauteed onion, shiitakes, maitakes (hen of the woods), and golden and green zucchini
  
• corn, tomato, and bell pepper salad, dressed with lime and cumin
  
• frozen commercial dessert

Hi, I'm back. I received the Gurney's newsletter and lo and behold they are having a wild and crazy everything-on-sale Labor Day! I'm getting the kolorabi seeds. Even though they are very reasonable anyway a sale is always nice! Plus you know I can't buy just what I indend. I'm thinking I might NEED a passion flower for the balcony.
