* Baby namings on both Shabbatot of Hanukah (a refreshing change from last year's spate of boys).
* Making patterns with the colored candles in the hanukkiyah, and seeing reflections of the flames in the window.
* Hearing Hissilliness read Captain Najork and His Hired Sportsmen again.
* Extreme Boggle-ation (including BOLETES and THATCHING).
* Bike ride on a December afternoon... in short sleeves.
* Kosher food around the office, including lunch and fancy vendor-sent baked goods. (OK, this is mixed: if it weren't kosher, I wouldn't be eating it...)
* Crystal-matching help from Zzbottom.
* Impromptu walks.
* Being in a crocheting phase again.

Yay boggle coolness! We'll have to play online together sometime.

That would be great! The only site I know of is Weboggle, where I play using the 5x5 board. My house rule is a 5-letter minimum (on the big board), so it's always strange online looking for 4-letter words as well.

I've played on Playsite before, where the game is called Tanglewords, but I am happy to play on Weboggle too. I also have a 5-letter minimum house rule, which sometimes gets expanded to exclude plurals. (With some exceptions - for instance, "pears" would be disallowed, but "jeans" wouldn't be since there's no such thing as one "jean.")

I've never used Playsite; is it iWin now? (And it looks like it's all downloads, not online stuff, if I found the right place).

The down side of Weboggle is that you only see other people's totals, and all the people playing at once, rather than having smaller games.

I've never thought to exclude plurals; that's hard core! (Would a one-legged amputee wear one "jean"?)

Hmm, I think online takes some of the fun out of it. I too very much enjoy 5 letter minimum boggle. Anyone care to play some time?

Online is not as good as in person, but when there aren't people around, it's better than nothing.

I'd like to play sometime. *mental note that you are one of the Boggle Nation*

Part of the "Boggle Nation" huh... such a boggling notion. *ducks*

Yes, i saw you crocheting something large the other night. Yowza! That's serious stuff.

And it is refreshing to have a burst of girls (says the mama to boys). I do love me Y chromosomes, especially now when the big Y has them at the park, but a wee pair of Xes is nice, once in a while.

Large is faster than small, actually, and much easier on the fingers. I'm making up a sweater/vest (not sure that I have enough yarn to add sleeves once I finish the rest), which may look strange when I'm done, since I'm not using a pattern, nor have I made one before...

Ys are good, but balance is good, too :-).
