The Boston Children's Museum(scroll down to Summer Revels) celebrates the solstice with performers, workshops, etc. Free, June 25-26, 7-9 pm. Also, museum admission is $1 from 5-9 pm.

Also, I saw a sign in the Yard for a symposium on color during the afternoon of July 1 on Divinity St. (Cambridge), but I've found no online mention (or perhaps my Google-fu is lacking).
