Noontime workout

Decided: it's unlikely I'll go to a midday gym class again. It's a rush to get there, the class is shorter, there's a rush for the showers, I don't get to cool down sufficiently. And I have to work later to make a full day. It's much better for me to go before (well, it could happen someday) or after work. At least the class was good.

Going this noon let me experience the joys of walking in ice pellets, though, and I got to appreciate the water-proofiness of my new workboots. Plus I got to see the long mechanical brusher they use to clear some of the sidewalks around here, which looked really cool.

in my dorm, we put a similar sign on the bathroom on our floor, to make it gender-nonspecific. 'twas fun, until the alumni came through and tore it down in horror, or something. :-)

shucks. can't find it easily. suffice it to say it was inspired by Gender Outlaw (Kate Bornstein.)
