I just picked up my December pass (green and teal). There's a pass number on the back, 1263614. I just checked this month's, and it's 1165305. Seems like the T sells about 100,000 passes/month. Interesting.

I don't think it's a matter of subtracting November's number from December's. I'm sure the 11 and 12 refer to November and December, respectively. I could be completely wrong, and the fact that the first two digits correspond to the months could be a complete coincidence. <shrug>

That could be. Though it would make it tricky to keep passes from one January distinct from the next. If one wanted to, that is.

Hm. Looks like you're right. The October one starts with 10 (14033), and the September one starts with 09 (11825).

The rest of the numbers seem to have a big jump, though. I wonder what they're tracking, then.
