+ finishing three hats: five handles, brick stars, and fairy lights (Want a hat? Let me know.)
+ two reasonably long walking mileage days (5 and 7.5 miles) as well as two with shorter mileage
+ one-on-one time with a few friends, including someone who's mostly international these days
+ a birthday party for a wonderful person (with an incredible number of impressive home-made desserts)
+ hearing new music in process
+ a sewing lesson
+ an unexpected pashmina hand carried from India
+ getting stuff I don't need to people who will use it
