magidGoing to Wordsworth erev Shabbat was scary, with most shelves already completely book-free. A sad time. I was lucky enough to run into friends who distracted me from the already picked-over almost-corpse, though.
Best overheard phrase Thursday: "politically enriched". (I wish the president were.)
Also Thursday, we got a tree! It's been years since there was a tree in front of my house, and now there's a sapling, inserted by the city. No clue what kind, since it's leafless, but I look forward to finding out next spring.
OK, who ordered this weather? It was supposed to be warm and breezy *Wednesday*, for eclipse-watching. Not that I won't take it today instead..
Baby naming this noon. Hooray for cute little healthy babies!
